When 2020 Covid restrictions postponed a planned project I met artist friends for a weekly drawing time using simple materials - Dollarama sketchbooks, black pen, paint and whiteout to work with the basics of line, colour, texture, form. This prolonged exercise in work and conversation, like practicing studies and scales for a musician opened up new directions.
